Gilead Oral Remdesivir Clinical Trial
Summary: Remdesivir (Veklury) is a prescription medicine used to treat Covid-19 in adults and children with mild-tomoderate COVID-19, and at high risk for progression to severe Covid-19. Previously only given in an inpatient setting, this therapy has been approved to be given in the outpatient setting
Total Visits: 3 infusion visits 3 days in a row at our Burr Ridge Infusion Center
Requirements: Within 7 days of symptoms at time of first infusion; positive covid test; most recent labs

When you test positive for CoVID, you will need to separate yourself from other people and monitor your symptoms. The experience can be frightening and somewhat lonely.
Few treatment options have been available outside of emergency medical care. Even fewer medical practices are organized and dedicated to treat patients with CoVID outside of the hospital. Until now.
